CREATIVE GUIDES · CREATIVE CRAFTS DUBAI
A blank is an undecorated item ready for a suitable craft technique. Match the material and finish to the decoration method before cutting vinyl, painting or applying heat.
Drinkware
Tumblers, bottles and mugs offer space for names or small designs. Adhesive vinyl suits selected hard surfaces, while sublimation and Infusible Ink require compatible blanks and tools. Keep decorations away from drinking rims and food-contact areas.
Fabric bags and aprons
Choose iron-on or fabric paint designed for the fabric composition. Protect the work surface, test the application and follow the care instructions. Fleece and other textured fabrics need their own compatibility checks.
Keychains and tags
Acrylic, wooden and metal blanks each behave differently. You can add a vinyl motif to a suitable smooth surface, but engraving depends on the tool and material. Confirm compatibility rather than assuming a machine can engrave any blank.
Cake toppers
Use a pre-made topper blank and decorate only areas appropriate for the material. Keep glue, vinyl and paint clear of direct food contact unless approved for that purpose.
Before buying a batch
Check the dimensions, finish and recommended decoration method. Make a sample and verify the care requirements before producing gifts or customer orders.
