CREATIVE GUIDES · CREATIVE CRAFTS DUBAI
A Cricut can help you produce repeatable, personalised designs for a small craft business. Start with a product you can make consistently, and test your process before taking customer orders.
Choose a focused product range
Paper cards, gift tags, fabric bags and vinyl labels are useful starting points. Other possibilities include party decorations, personalised bottles and suitable keychain blanks. Begin with one or two products rather than offering every technique at once.
Understand the tools
A Cricut cutting machine follows designs created or prepared in Design Space. It cuts supported materials; it does not print. A compatible heat press is a separate tool for applying suitable heat-transfer materials to suitable blanks.
Make samples first
Test the design size, material choice, application method and care instructions. Photograph your finished samples and keep notes so you can repeat the same result. Check commercial-use permissions for fonts, images and design files before selling products made with them.
Work out the real cost
Include materials, packaging, failed tests, production time and any delivery charges when deciding whether a product is practical for your business. A machine does not guarantee sales or profit.
For customer orders, confirm spelling, colour and placement before making a personalised item. A small, well-made collection is easier to manage than a large range you have not tested.
